About Me

Exploring Housetraining Methods For Dogs

Hello, my name is Ella Werns. When my dog was just a few months old, he would constantly urinate on the floor in the den. We didn't understand why he chose that spot, but it turned out to be a huge problem for several months. We tried working with him on our own to solve this trying problem, but nothing we did was enough of a deterrent. He didn't even want his favorite treats in exchange for eliminating outside. Eventually, we contacted a trainer who told us to deep clean the floor in that room. The trainer also helped us set up an elimination schedule to establish good habits. The cleaning and new routine worked like magic. I would like to discuss housetraining techniques on this site to help others avoid frustration caused by improper elimination habits.
